【 摘 要 】

In 2006–07, the Water and SanitationProgram–South Asia (WSP–SA) initiated a research toidentifybarriers to service delivery for the urban poor. Theresearch included a review ofvarious initiatives from acrossthe globe that have resulted in improved service deliveryfor theurban poor and consultations with the urban poorcommunities. The present volume is adocumentation of thisresearch and supports the Guidance Notes on ImprovingWaterSupply and Sanitation Services for the Urban Poor in India.
