Sixteenth in a series of annual reportscomparing business regulation in 190 economies, DoingBusiness 2019 covers 11 areas of business regulation. Ten ofthese areas - starting a business, dealing with constructionpermits, getting electricity, registering property, gettingcredit, protecting minority investors, paying taxes, tradingacross borders, enforcing contracts and resolving insolvency- are included in the ease of doing business score and easeof doing business ranking. Doing Business also measuresfeatures of labor market regulation, which is not includedin these two measures. Doing Business provides objectivemeasures of business regulations and their enforcementacross 190 economies and selected cities at the subnationaland regional level. This economy profile presents indicatorsfor Spain; for 2019 Spain ranks 30.
