【 摘 要 】

This country note for Azerbaijan is partof a series of country briefs that summarize informationrelevant to climate change and agriculture for threecountries in the Southern Caucasus Region, with a particularfocus on climate and crop projections, adaptation andmitigation options, policy development and institutionalinvolvement. The note series has been developed to provide abaseline of knowledge on climate change and agriculture forthe countries participating in the regional program onreducing vulnerability to climate change in SouthernCaucasus agricultural systems. This note for Azerbaijan wasshared with the Government and other agricultural sectorstakeholders and used as an engagement tool for a NationalAwareness Raising and Consultation Workshop, held in Baku inMarch 2012. Feedback and comments on the note from thisconsultation process have been incorporated into thisupdated version in collaboration with the AzerbaijanMinistry of Agriculture.
