This Jobs Solutions Note identifiespractical solutions for development practitioners to designand implement skills training programs that improve outcomesfor women. Based on curated knowledge and evidence for aspecific topic and relevant to jobs, the Jobs SolutionsNotes are not intended to be exhaustive; they provide keylessons, solutions and approaches synthesized from theexperiences of the World Bank Group and partners. This Notedraws on rigorous evidence stemming from impact evaluations,systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and mixed-methods. TheNote focuses on adaptations to address supply-sideconstraints, while acknowledging the importance ofdemand-side factors in influencing returns to skillstraining and labor market outcomes.
