This document serves as the technical basis for sampling airborne radioactive particulates at the Plutonium Finishing Plant (PFP). This document explains how PFP meets requirements associated with fixed head air sampling, grab air sampling, and real-time air monitoring, irrespective of whether the air sampling or monitoring uses temporary equipment, or permanently installed equipment. The basis for air monitoring in specific cases, however, is found in job-specific work plans and/or radiological work permits.
