The present Regulations are made under the Canada Grain Act. The objectives of the proposed Regulations are to continue producer funding for wheat and barley research, market development and technical assistance on an interim basis; and establish a transitional deduction with characteristics that closely mirror the current Canadian Wheat Board funding.
