These Regulations set out limit values and quality objectives concerning discharges of hexachlorocyclohexane. These provisions apply to the waters referred to in regulation 2 (2) of the Pollution Caused by Certain Dangerous Substances Discharged into the Aquatic Environment Regulations, namely inland surface waters, territorial waters and internal coastal waters (groundwater is excluded from the scope).
