【 摘 要 】

This Act sets the basis for the general environmental assessment approach. This Act has the direct purpose of transposing into the legal system of Gibraltar the provisions of the Directive 2001/42/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 June 2001 on the assessment of the effects of certain plans and programmes on the environment and to provide for regulations to be made for compliance with European Union obligations.
