This Act makes provision with respect to the importation and storage of gas, oil and gas production, offshore storage of carbon dioxide for the purpose of its permanent disposal, the payment of costs for the decommissioning of energy installations (i.e. nuclear, offshore renewables and oil and gas), clean-up of nuclear sites, petroleum and gas licences, the production of electricity from renewable sources and renewable energy in general.
