We prove the convergence of the Frobenius-Pade approximants for a class of piecewise analytic functions which includes vertical bar x vertical bar(alpha) with 0 < alpha < 2. The measures considered for the expansions are symmetric in [-1, 1]. (C) 2017 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
