【 摘 要 】
In this paper we consider the solvability of the boundary value problem (phi(p) (u'))' + lambda(1phip)(u) = f (u) + h(t), u(0) = u(T) = 0, where p > 1, phi(p)(u) = \u\(p-2)u. By using generalized polar coordinates transformation method, we improve and generalize some results obtained recently in [J. Differential Equations 151 (1999) 386]. (C) 2004 Elsevier Inc.
