Let K = Q(root d) be a real quadratic field with odd class number and its fundamental unit epsilon(d) = x + y root d > 1 satisfies N-K/Q(epsilon(d)) = 1. We give some congruence relations about x, y explicitly. (C) 2013 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
