【 摘 要 】

In creating constructivist inquiry-based active classrooms, theteacher has to resort to new teaching methods. To make mechanicsconcepts more meaningful and visible, we proposeusing an open-source software—Tracker—which can be easilydownloaded. Fundamental concepts of mechanics can beeasily taught by visualizing and analyzing the motion of theobjects in the Tracker software environment.This article discusses some mechanical problems and howthey can be visualized and solved using Tracker software.This software can benefit high school students to college studentsin analyzing different motions. This method is alsoknown as the video-based analysis (VBA)method. This methodcan widely be used across different problems of mechanicsand can be helpful in the effective teaching-learning process.In this article, we discuss how Tracker software can be usedto solve some real-life mechanics problems.
