【 摘 要 】
We synthesized epitaxial perovskite oxide superlattices consisting of alternating ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic sublayerswith a six-unit-cell sublayer thickness. This sublayer thickness corresponds to the maximum in interfacial spin-flop coupling for this system. Soft x-ray photoemission electron microscopy was used to observe the temperature dependence of the correlation between the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic domain structure in each sublayer. We confirm the local perpendicular alignment between the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnet moments and find that the strength of the spin-flop coupling dominates over the pinning effect of the structural domains that typically define the location of the antiferromagnetic domains.
