【 摘 要 】

Theories of translation, or transfer, of poetic works between different cultures or semiospheres, signed by Haroldo de Campos and Iuri M. Lotman, are powerful neuralgic centers for, from them, to study the relations between cultures, within them the relations between literatures and the possibilities of poetic transduction. Strongly personalized and rigorously formalized, either theories, or visions, constitute their own universes, but intertwined by identical or complementary approximations. At first, possible approximations are made between the two thoughts until circumscribing the respective nucleus of intersection. These theories lead to the limits of the implications brought about by the questioning of literary translation from the theory of literature and the semiotics of culture, in the terms in which the two essayists explored such fields. However, of course, there are limitations that are neither overcome, nor diminished, nor neutralized in a practice guided by this minimal shared theoretical core. The focus is given to the resistance to translation that tests the scope of the theories of Campos and Lotman, while taking advantage of them. Produced at a time when the development of cybernetics and culture in digital networks was not the same as today, I wonder what step can be taken now to bring the translation closer to the original without losing the poetic intensity of literary communication. Not being a proper proposal for a literary translation, I have as a theoretical assumption that the current advances in neurobiology and the facilities brought by the network communication can indicate a way of closer approximation between the original text and the translated text. This is not the proposal of a translator, but that of a theorist. This essay is not addressed to language schools or but rather to experience in translation with assimplicit theory of literature that is implicit: that the support for poetic communication lies in the pre-verbal imaginary discourse which, for this very reason, is transversal.
