【 摘 要 】

This paper presents the possibility of applying a management model for discontinuous system of exploitation in the specific working conditions on the open pit 'Bogutovo Selo' Ugljevik. Development of this model is a contribution to global trends and efforts to the use of information technology as much as is possible for the purpose of modeling and optimisation of production systems in the mining industry. In this sense, information technology and management techniques have been used, with detailed research of the discontinuous exploitation system and specificity with a huge number of influencing parameters and variables that largely define the method of this management process. Application of the developed model in real terms were analyzed and the optimization of the process can be significantly influenced by increase of the capacity of discountinious systems, depending on the size of the system and working conditions on the pit itself.
