【 摘 要 】

The documentary movie defines itself by the understanding and the knowledge which it brings of a situation (Niney, on 2000). In that respect, it already has a political dimension because it allows by the representation that it offers of the world to interact with him, so placing the man within his city as a central question. The documentary series "Live in the territory" on which I work for several years in 4 differents cities from the South of France, is going to show that the situational forms which proposes the documentary (shooting, editing, projection and debate) favor the interactions between the protagonists (director, actors and spectators). They federate those who participate in it. A new community builds up itself from these relations which weave on the basis of the comprehensive approach introduced in movies and which proposes as an esthetic shape, a " relational esthetics " (Bourriaud, on 2001). They also help each to assert themselves individually and collectively at the same time, personally and politically, so proposing new spaces of voicing of opinions, new spaces of liberties.
