【 摘 要 】
Few are the works about the history of Bulgarian emigration and about the political and cultural organisation of the emigrants in Europe and in America from the end of the 19th century. The most interesting series is built of emigrants’ editions, in particular periodicals, but also a corpuses of literary texts, special editions, literary collections, and commemorative pamphlets, often hard to access. Our study carries on mainly within the Bulgarian collections of the Bibliothèque nationale de France and also in some private archives in France and Bulgaria. Many interviews have been conducted in Paris and Sofia.France always had a strong symbolism for the Bulgarians, traditionally French speaking and Francophile. Country of the French Revolution, on democracy and freedom, it quickly became a priority for the Bulgarian political emigrants who flee, after 1944, the arrival to power of the Popular Front. This study aims to show the global strategies press of the Bulgarian political emigration and to underline the fact that this press inevitably follows the circulations and transfers of the political centres in Europe.
