【 摘 要 】

The transformations undergone by the agricultural Pampas during the last twenty years have had special significance on the labor force in charge of sowing, working and gathering 'record harvests'. However, there is no consensus as to the consequences that this process has had on the global volume of agricultural occupation. The magnitude and speed of the changes have motivated various thoughts on the issue, which are crossed by an underlying controversy related to the value that this agricultural development model should have for society as a whole. This paper aims at providing statistical and conceptual elements which we believe have only been partially addressed in works on the topic, which after being duly re-processed and compared provide us with useful input to evaluate this substantial aspect of the agricultural capitalist development in the Pampas.
