ENGAGEMENT E QUALIDADE DO SONO E MAIS CONEXÕES DO BURNOUT ACADÊMICO.

【 摘 要 】

Objective: toanalyzetheprevalenceofengagementthatcorrelateswithpositivesymptomsof burnoutsyndromeandcorrelatewithsleepqualityandsociodemographicvariables. Methods: Thisisacross-sectionalstudyconductedattheUniversityofRioVerdeusinganinstrument constructed by the author himself and the second instrument UWES-S - Utrecht Work EngagementScale-Studentthatmeasuresandcorrelateswithdatafromthesociodemographic instrument itself with the PSQI-Pittsburgh Quality Sleep index instrument that allows evidence of changesinsleep. Results:228questionnairesofundergraduatestudentsgroupedin4major areas(Humanities,Health,ExactandAgrarian)wereverified,withameanof3.51±6.2inthe healthgroup,asmeasuredbytheT-testunderthe"vigor"sphereoftheUWES-S,therewasa statistical difference between the male sex (ρ = 0.03), in the comparison by areas with the UWES-Sspherethereweredifferencesinthe"Dedication"sphereswhencompared(p=0.00)and HealthxHuman,inthesphereof"Absorption",statisticaldifferencewasobservedwhen compared to Health x Agrarian (p = 0.00) and Health x Exact (p = 0, 04). There was no statistical difference when comparing thePSQIwith theother data. Conclusions:Engagement asa constructisrecentinBrazil.Hisknowledgeprovidedafreshlookattheacademiccontext,but thereis aneed foradditionalresearch toinvestigate howthedifferentfactorsaffecting student attrition and involvement in the study.
