【 摘 要 】

This research analyzes the purposes, classes, origin and requirements of the prison custody. This paper also addresses the electronic surveillance and its administrative regulationinColombia.Thepossibilityofreplacingthecustodybyelectronicsurveillance is also discussed, based on the interpretation of articles 313 and 315 of our criminal law procedure and article 250 of the Constitution.
