【 摘 要 】

The reasons behind the Neolithic transition are highly debated. A spatial-temporal analysis allows us to examine how Neolithic innovations spread. A long term study at the European level reveals successive phases of non-linear dynamics. Detailed examination of the two classically accepted diffusion trends (continental and Mediterranean) reveals a division into successive movements, clearly individualized in time and space. We have suggested a function model for this movement, confronting it with archeological data.
