【 摘 要 】

Develop abstract thinking is an issue that should be included in the curricula of most disciplines, but the reality is that barely it is considered in the engineering. In this article is presented the results of an investigation whose objective was to conduct a review of the literature to find the level of research and experimentation in this area. The findings show that the authors are concerned with the situation but proposed little to solve it. The most important relationship of abstract thinking is whit Computer Science, but the results and conclusions of the investigation are inconclusive, and a high percentage are not related.
