【 摘 要 】

An innovative magnetic based system for detectingand identifying networks of buried pipes is presented. Currentlywhen a pipe is buried, a warning colored plastic is placed aboveit and its color indicates the nature of its fluid. Its locationis reported on maps. This system developed here consists ofa magnetic sensor block associated to a detector based on anelectromagnetic induction balance. The detector emits a sine waveof frequency f0 and picks up the harmonics generated by thepossible presence of magnetic codes designed in a nanocrystallinematerial with very high permeability. The processing of the receivedsignals allows one to identify the codes without excavation.
