【 摘 要 】
The author reflects on the past, present, and future of higher education in the world as studied by P. Altbach, The Director-Founder of the Center for International Higher Education of the Boston College, USA. In solidarity with the author of the book, this work is focused on the inconsistency of the growing mass production of higher education, the changing roles of professors in modern higher educational process and increasing inequality in it. At the same time, it polemizes with the researcher on the evolution of the higher educational internationalization. The concept proposed in the book makes it possible to analyze in detail the specifics of modern functioning of the higher educational institute, in particular, in the European Union and the BRIC countries
