【 摘 要 】
This work is a reflective proposal on the Human Capital Theory and its relationship with education. This topic is also addressed from different perspectives, especiallytheeconomicone, andlaterthe sociological one. The evolution of this theoretical perspective is briefly exposed to coincide with its interferencewitheducation.Someconsiderations of the case of Mexico were considered. The objective was to analyze how Human Capital Theory is invariably related to education and academic training.Itisconcludedthattheperson'seconomic growth depends not only on the knowledge received but on other elements outside the individual. As well as that the conception that there is a directly proportional relationship between education and economic growth has changed over time, and that more effective educational training does not guarantee success.
