【 摘 要 】

This article presents some general considerations on Spanish Golden Age printed playtexts, and it analyses the birth and development of the Parte de comedias as an editorial genre, focusing on the first third of 17th Century. So, the formal features of the Parte and the reasons of its success are examined, in a comparative approach which encompasses the rest of the Spanish printed dramatic texts as well as the formation process of the book of theatre in Baroque Europe.
