【 摘 要 】

The new profile of teachers is the result of a series of factors related to social change. This paper presents a review of different theories about the skills pertaining to the new professional profile of profesors to changes attributed to the European Higher Education Area. The literature on the subject is in different skills related to the ability to plan instruction; design of content; the use of new methodologies and technologies; the knowledge and implementation of new assessment procedure; the ability to communicate; as well as, tutoring students.
