The work represents a continuation of theauthor's concerns about sustainable developmentissues. This paper is aimed at meeting Romania'stargets for energy and the environment, targets with amajor impact on the objectives of sustainabledevelopment. The concrete targets included in SDSEUand RES are highlighted, defining and specifying howto assess their degree of achievement. For theevaluations, the official information from the NRAEand DB of NIS is used. The conclusions containreferences to the degree of achievement of TC for EMas well as proposals for improvement
