【 摘 要 】
The image of a destination is becoming more and more an inevitable strategy of each city due to the importance of its position on the tourist attraction’s map. How and by what means building a favorable image or changing a negative one is a relevant question to each destination. In this trend, the contribution of festivals and tourist events is important. Cities are increasingly using the use of cultural events to improve their image, stimulate urban development and attract visitors and investment. The festival, with its capacity of image foundation, represents a source of differentiation and market positioning of tourist destinations. The interest of this article is to study and analyze the importance of the festival towards the host city as an image creator.
