【 摘 要 】

This chapter aims to provide an overview on the importance of cultural heritage of various countriesendowedwithsuchassets.Culturalheritageisalsoimportantforthedevelopmentof tourism by attracting tourists and visitors. Given the development of tourism sector worldwide, issues affectingthis willbediscussed,focusingontheimportanceofculturalheritage.Specialattentionis paid to the case study on Kosovo, focusing on the city of Prizren and its cultural heritage. This paper clarifiedtheimportanceofculturalheritageanditspreservationforKosovoingeneral,andforthe city of Prizren in particular.
