【 摘 要 】

The article describes the factors of public tourism development on the Island of Olkhon, Baikal Lake, Russia in 2005-2018. The most of attention is paid to the problems of anthropogenic impact, social and economical employment of locals, commercial interest of tour operators, transportation accessibility of the island and the impact of Russian foreign policy onto the foreign tourism development.
