【 摘 要 】

Life insurance in the Republic of Macedonia has a short history, if we do notcount the experience of ZOIL Makedonija before the independence of Republicof Macedonia. The recent history of life insurance covers the last sevenyears and the segment of life insurance comprises about 6% of the totalinsurance market in the Republic of Macedonia. In this paper we analyse thedevelopment of life insurance in the Republic of Macedonia in recent history,taking the gross premiums of two of the best companies that are working inthe segment of life insurance. Besides analysing the influence of the basicdeterminants of the development of life insurance (GDP, monetary stability,social insurance, etc.) we analyse the model of time series, with the purposeof making a model and forecasting future values of the series.
