【 摘 要 】
the previous few decades a remarkable growth and development of anesthesiologyand its related disciplines has been witnessed. Some specific publications by renownedauthors have helped to document many genetic diseases and their perioperativeanesthetic management. Also noteworthy are a number of case reports published inthe major anesthesiology congresses and specialized journals on the subject. This hasled to an understanding of the pathophysiology and the safe anesthetic managementin patients with any of these diseases. However, some rare diseases always remain achallenge for the clinical anesthesiologists. It is of utmost importance to appreciate thepathophysiology of these diseases and to anticipate potential problems, as it will allowyou to face situations of apprehension and decrease the associated risks to your patient.
