【 摘 要 】

One lung ventilation (OLV) can be a real challenge in the paediatric population, as the margin of errorsis minimum, the time to adapt and make decisions lessens, and stress levels increase. The anestheticmanagement of a 5 year old girl with pneumatocele and bronchopleural fistula posted for thoracotomyis described. Right sided endobronchial intubation with uncuffed PVC endotracheal tube (ETT) wasused for OLV. Thoracic epidural was given for perioperative analgesia and to facilitate postoperativephysiotherapy.
