【 摘 要 】

We present a short biography and brief review of contributions of professor Mirjana Vuki´cevi´c-Karabin to the development of astrophysics education at the University of Belgrade and to the research in physics of the Earth ionosphere and the Sun. The bibliography of her papers is given as well. We hope that the review of the two aspects of her work will elucidate her important role in the development of astrophysics in our country.
