【 摘 要 】

Using 3-methyl-4-phenylthieno[2,3-b]thiophene-2,5-dicarbohydrazide as synthon a series of new bis-heterocycles incorporating the thieno[2,3-b]thiophene nucleus was prepared and characterized.
