【 摘 要 】

Introduction:Durationandremainderscararetwoimportantproblemsinprocessofsurgicalwoundhealing,especiallyinlowmidlineincisionsthatusuallyhavemoredurationandwiderscarintheirhealingprocess.TheaimofthisstudywasacomparisonbetweenHoneyandPovidoneIodineinsurgicalwoundhealing,becauseofHoneyistheworld’soldestknownwounddressingandthereareseveralreportsfromitsantibacterialpropertiesandstimulatingeffectsonwoundhealingprocess.MaterialsandMethods:Thisclinicaltrialstudywasperformedon40femaleRabbitsthatwerenon-pregnant,5monthsagedwithaverageweightof1900grams,belongingtoAlbinorace,inAnimalInstituteinTehran,Iranintheyear2006.Forbeginning,Rabbitsweredividedintotwoequalgroupsrandomly,andthensimilarsurgicalincisions10cmtracedwereappliedafterappropriateshavingandlocalanesthesiaonexteriorareaofrightthighofallrabbits.ThenallRabbitswoundssuturedbySilk2.0separatelyandwerecoveredsimilarly.Coveringofwoundsintwogroupswerechangedevery12hoursandwoundsweredressedwith5mlofpurrednaturalHoneyinfirstgroupandinthesecondgroupirrigatedwith5mlofPovidoneIodine10%ineverytime.ThefindingswererecordedandanalyzedwithSPSSsoftwarebyusingofchi-squareandttest,p
