【 摘 要 】
Acarbon-nanotube(CNT)electrophoreticdeposition(EPD)processhasbeendevelopedtoprepareafieldemissionlayerinplasmadisplaypanels(PDP)fordischargevoltagereduction.TheCNTlayerasasourceofdischargeprimingelectronshasbeenfabricatedonthePDPfrontpanel.Theballinggrinding,mix-acidtreatmentandEPDparametershavebeeninvestigatedinordertoobtaingooduniformityandexcellentfieldemissioncapabilityofCNTlayer,inordertomeetthespecificationsofCNTsinPDPcell.Themeasuredturn-onfieldwasaround1.1V/μminthefieldemissiontestingwhiletheminimumsustainingvoltagewasdecreasedby30~40VwiththeuseofCNTlayerinthedischargetesting.
