【 摘 要 】
nbsp;nbsp;Wepresentatechniqueformetal-organic-metaljunctions,whichcontaintenorfewerconjugatedmoleculesbetweeneachofsuchjunction,andtheinvestigationoftheI-Vresponseofthesejunctions.Thejunctionsaremadebyselfassemblingthiolatedmoleculesontogoldcoatedtipsforuseinscanningtunnelingmicroscopy.nbsp;Weshowthatthiseasytechniqueprobesthequalitativepropertiesofthemolecules.Current-voltagecharacteristicsofaTourwireandanewmolecularrectifierarepresented.
