Diagnóstico de modelos de yeso vs digitales: exactitud y fiabilidad en la comparación del Análisis de Bolton y sus mediciones correspondientes

【 摘 要 】

Actuallytheuseofmoresophisticatedtoolsinorthodonticssuchasdigitalsoftwareanddigitalstudiomodels,hasprovidedgreaterfacilityforthediagnosis,treatmentplanningandmanufactureofappliances;changingthetraditionalapproachtomeasurement,andeliminatethedisadvantagesthatrepresentsthephysicalstorage.TheaimofthisstudywastocomparetheaccuracyandreliabilityofBoltonindexandcorrespondingmeasurementsbetweenmanualanddigitalmethodsofstudymodels.Thestudyincluded50patientstudymodelsoforthodonticpostgraduateoftheUniversityofCuenca,wherebyforthemanualmeasuring(goldstandard)wasemployedadigitalVerniercaliperMitutoyowith0.01mmaccuracy.FordigitalmethodwasusedanopticallaserscannerOpticalRevEngandthemeasurementswithanorthodonticsoftwareNemocast3D.ThereproducibilityofbothmethodswascalculatedbyStudent#39;sttest,andreliabilitybyPearson#39;scorrelationcoefficient.Thestatisticalsignificancelevelwassetat0.05.Results:Allresultsshowedexcellentcorrelationofbothmethods,thettestindicatedthattherearesignificantdifferencesbetweenthetwomethodsexceptanteroinferiorsumandanteriorBolton.Conclusion:Althoughthereproducibilityofbothmethodsshowedmostlystatisticallysignificantdifferences;precision,accuracyandreliabilityofthetwomethodswashighandclinicallyirrelevant.
