【 摘 要 】

Leadisatoxicmetalthataffectsvarioussystemsofthehumanbody.Itcancauseirreversibledamageandcanposeacriticalthreatduringachild#39;sgrowthperiod.ThisstudyseekstodeterminetheriskofleadcontaminationintheexfoliatedprimaryteethofchildrenwhoattendtheareaofPediatricDentistryintheFundaciónCentrodeSaludComunalyDesarrolloIntegral(CESADE)inTocuyitoCarabobostateinVenezuelafromFebruarytoAprilof2013.Thisstudywasframedasadescriptiveresearchanddependent-variableexperimentwhereitusedanindirectobservationtechniqueinwhichaselectedforty-sixexfoliatedprimaryteethfromthestudypopulation,accordingtospecificcriteria,weretestedforpossibleleadconcentrations.Thiswasdonethroughdigestionandinductivelycoupledplasmaopticalemissionspectrometry.Theresultsshowednodetectablelevelsoflead.thereforedigestiontechniqueandconcludesopticalspectrophotometryisusefulfordetermininglevelsofleadcontaminationinchildpopulations.Therefore,itisconcluded,fromthistestedsample,thatthereisalowriskofleadcontaminationtoexfoliatedprimaryteeth.
