【 摘 要 】
ThepurposeofthisstudywastoexaminerelationshipsbetweenglutathioneS-transferaseMu-1(GSTM1)genepolymorphismandthesusceptibilityofspermatozoafrompatientswithidiopathicinfertilitytooxidativestress.Fifty-twomenwithidiopathicinfertilityand60healthyfertilemenwererecruitedtothisstudy.GSTM1genepolymorphismwasdeterminedbypolymerasechainreaction(PCR)andboththeinfertileandcontrolindividualsweredividedintoGSTM1nullandGSTM1positivegroupsaccordingtotheirGSTM1genestructure.ROSformationinspermatozoawasfollowedbychemiluminescenceofluminol-fluoresceine-enhancedsystem.Wecomparedreactiveoxygenspecies(ROS)generationinspermatozoafrominfertilepatientsandcontrolswithrespecttoGSTM1genotype.SignificantlyhigherlevelsofROSwerefoundinidiopathicinfertilemenwiththeGSTM1nullgenotypecomparedwiththosewiththeGSTM1positivegenotype.TherewasnosignificantdifferenceingenotypedistributionfortheGSTM1variantbetweentheidiopathicinfertilesubjectsandfertilesubjects.OurresultssuggestthatthesusceptibilityofspermatozoatooxidativestressissignificantlygreaterinidiopathicinfertilemenwiththeGSTM1nullgenotypecomparedwiththosepossessingthegene.Therefore,inpatientswithidiopathicinfertility,GSTM1polymorphismmightbeanimportantsourceofvariationinsusceptibilityofspermatozoatooxidativedamage.
