【 摘 要 】

Dyepollutioninwaterandsoilisincreasingrapidlydependingontheindustrialization.Syntheticdyesaremutagenic,toxicandresistanttodegradationduetotheircomplexchemicalstructuressotheireffluentscannotbedirectlydischarged.Thebiologicalremediationoftextileeffluentshasrecentlyreceivedanincreasingattention,representinganattractive,cheap,environmentallyfriendly,andpubliclyacceptablealternativetothephysico-chemicalmethods.Microorganismsplayanimportantroleinthedecolorizationandremovalofdyesfrompollutedsites.Inthisstudy,decolorizationofRV-5RandRBO-3RbyBacillussp.whichwasisolatedfromtextileeffluentwasinvestigated.TheeffectofenvironmentalfactorssuchaspH(5.5,6.5,7.5,8.0,9.0and10.0)temperature(20,30,37and42°C),carbon(1g/L:sucrose,glucose,starchandmannitol)andnitrogenesources(ammoniumchloride,peptoneandyeastextract)andinitialdyeconcentration(10,25,50,100,200,500mg/L)onthemicrobialdecolorizationbyBacillussp.wasinvestigated.Themaximumdyeremovalwasobtainedat500mg/LinitialdyeconcentrationforRV-5Rand200and500mg/LforRBO-3Rbythebacterium.BacterialdecolorizationofRV-5Rwas54.54%(6h)ingrowthmediumcontainingyeastextract(1g/L)andglucose(1g/L)atpH10.0and37°C.ThesamebacteriumdecolorizedtheRBO-3Rdyeat96.15%(172h)ingrowthmediumcontainingpeptone(1g/L)andsucrose(1g/L)atpH10.0and30°C.AnyreportaboutthemicrobialdecolorizationoftheRV-5RandRBO-3Rdyeshasnotbeenseenintheliterature.Thereforethisstudywasthefirstreportaboutthebacterialdecolorizationofthesedyes.
