【 摘 要 】

Thechemicalcomposition,theantimicrobialandantioxidantactivitiesofessentialoilofThymushaussknechtiihasbeeninvestigated.T.haussknechtiicollectedfromErzincanwassubjectedtohydrodistillationtoyieldessentialoilwhichwassubsequentlyanalyzedbyGasChromatography(GC)andGasChromatography/MassSpectrometry(GC/MS).Themaincomponentswere1,8-cineole(23.6%),trans-verbenol(6.6%),camphor(6.12%)andcaryophylleneoxide(6%).Theantimicrobialactivityoftheessentialoilwasassessedbyboththediscdiffusionandmicrobrothdilutionmethods.Alltestedmicroorganismswereinhibitedbyessentialoilsample.Theessentialoilisalsoactiveontestfungi.AspergillusflavusandA.nigerweresensitivetotheinvestigatedoilwithMICvaluesof500μg/mL.Theantioxidantactivityoftheessentialoil(100-1000μg/mL)wasdeterminedbymeansoftheDPPHradical-scavengingmethod.At1000μg/mLconcentrationoftheessentialoilT.haussknechtii,35.11±0.22%DPPHwasscavenging.
