【 摘 要 】

Commonvetch(ViciasativaL.)ismultiusagelegumeasacovercrop,greenmanure,pasture,silage,andhayduetoitshighdrymatterandnitrogenaccumulation.Itisneglectedcropduetotoxicitytonon-ruminantanimalsincludinghumans.Itcausesadiseasecalledfavisimduetothepresenceofanoxidantslikeconvicine,isouramil,divicineandvicinewhichresultsinloweringofglutathionelevelsinG6PD-deficientpersons.ImmaturecotyledonseedswereculturedonMSmediumcontaining0.05-0.80mg/lTDZ-0.10mg/lIBA.Callusingwithoutshootregenerationwasobservedonlyonhigherconcentarionof0.80mg/lTDZ-0.10mg/lIBAintheculturemedium.Shootregenerationfrequencyandshootsperexplantsranged25.0-58.33%and8.33-19.33respectively.MaximumShootregenerationfrequency(58.33%)andshootsperexplants(19.33)wererecordedonMSmediumsupplementedwith0.20mg/lTDZ-0.10mg/lIBA.EqualconcentrationofTDZ-IBAinducedmaximumshootlengthandwasrecorded5.0cm.MostofthepalntsrooteddirectlyintheculturemediumandremainingwereculturedonMSmediumcontaining1.0mg/lIBA.Bothtypesofplantletswereacclimatizedunderambientconditions.
