【 摘 要 】
Inthisstudy,microbiologicalanalysiswasperformedonsun-driedSealettuce,Ulvalactuca(L.),culturedinoutdoorseaweedtanksatUrlaMarineCenterofEgeUniversity(Izmir,Turkey).AtotaloffivemicrobialassayswereperformedbetweenMarchandApril2005.Standardmicrobiologicalmethodswereappliedformicroorganisms,suchasSalmonellaspp.,coliform,fecalcoliformandVibriosisspp.,wasexamined.ResultsofmicrobiologicalanalysisshowedthatSalmonellaspp.andfecalcoliformwereabsentinthedriedsamplesofU.lactucaandthetotalplatecount,coliform,andVibriosisspp.were8.18(±0.37)×104cfu/g,4.40(±4.72)cfu/g,and4.80(±6.91)cfu/g,respectively.Sincethetotalplatecountandproportionofcoliform,didnotexceedthelimitsofthefoodqualitystandards,itwasconcludedthatU.lactucaculturedinoutdoortanksanddriedunderthesuncanbeusedasarawmaterialoffoodforanimalandhumanconsumptioninTurkey.
