【 摘 要 】

SileneurvilleiSchott.(Caryophyllaceae)whichisendemictoWestAnatoliaandAegeanIslandswasinvestigatedmorphologically,anatomically,palynologicallyandcytologically.TheplantisperennialandtheleavesarespinythereforeitisdifferentfromotherSileneL.species.Stemandleavesarecoveredwithglandularhairs,thestemhasmulti-layeredcollenchyma.Petalsarewhitish,anthophoreishairy.Seedsarereniform,sutureoutlinesoftestacellsarelobedandsinuate.Pollensaretectate,spheroidal,microechinateandmicroperforate,15-24pores.Chromosomenumberwasfounded2n=24.
