【 摘 要 】

Atotalof2813bluefishfromtheSeaofMarmaraweremonthlycollectedfromcommercialcoastalartisanalfisheries,purseseines,landingatIstanbulfishmarketbetweenJanuary2003andDecember2004.Themaximalcatchlengthinthestudysampleswas45.3cmandmeanlengthwas16.9cm±0.01(8.4–45.3cm).Total(Z),natural(M)andfishing(F)mortalitiesofbluefishfromMarmaraSeawerefoundas0.60year-1,0.36year-1and0.96year-1,respectively.Thehigherexploitationrate(E=0.62)andyoungerindividualsfromthelandingsareevidenceofheavyfishingpressureonbluefishintheSeaofMarmara.
