【 摘 要 】

Themostactiveingredientagainstinsects,azadirachtin,atetranortriterpenoid,manifestsantifeedant,growthregulatoryandfecundity-reducingpropertiesininsects.Effectsofazadirachtinextractsobtainedfromripefruits,seeds,trunkandflowerofMeliaazedarachandAzadirachtaindicaontotalglycogenamountofGalleriamellonellawasstudied.Totalglycogensynthesizedweremeasuredwhenthelarvaereachedtheirlastlarvalstageafterfeedingthemduring3rdstagewith1.00,2.00,4.00and6.00mL/100gazadirachtincomparedwithcontrolinsectswhile33%,42%and50%decreasewereobservedinindividualfedwith2.00,4.00and6.00mL/100gazadirachtincontainingfeedrespectively.Azadirachtaindica;azadirachtin;Galleriamellonella;glycogen
